For the first event, we held a workshop and panel session inviting Ryuma Niiyama, working on robotic research at Tokyo University, as a guest lecturer. Participants were able to experience making artificial muscle which is indispensable in Soft Robotics, putting it actually in action in the workshop. In the panel session, starting from the basis of Soft Robotics and artificial muscle, Niiyama lectured about recent research and prospective of Robotics fields.
